Cheese & Wine Tasting

For cheese lovers, La Timpa organizes an extraordinary experience to discovery of Sicilian PDO cheeses produced with raw milk. A guided tasting that consists on explaining the sensorial and organoleptic peculiarities of cheeses, with the use of five senses, served with bread of our production, made with organic flours of our production, from Sicilian ancient grains, combined with two different Sicilian wines.

To complete the tasting, our chef will prepare pasta of our production (Senatore Cappelli wheat), drawn bronze, with cheeses and seasonal vegetables. To end the experience an artisanal dessert.

The program includes a short visit to the water mill at work and the “Cheese & Wine Tasting”.

The program wine and cheese tasting also provide the possibility to add to the guided tasting a show cooking with fresh pasta. Our chef will show how to prepare different kind of traditional fresh pasta. At the end of show cooking our guests can taste one type of pasta, gourmet style.

A unique dinner designed exclusively for those who love traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist. A tasting menù that pairs gourmet dishes with local wines selected by an expert sommelier.

Each course will include the narrative of the dish and the selected wines to accompany and enhance the specific proposal. A candlight dinner in a unique and convivial atmosphere, exclusively for our guests.

The tasting menù can be personally guided by the sommelier who will be at your disposal during the dinner or you can simply enjoy the selection of wines, in combination with the various courses.

All dishes are prepared with seasonal vegetables, our flours and seasoned with our DOP Monti Iblei La Timpa oil.

We offer three types of four-course menus depending on the season, Spring, Summer, and Autumn.

Our menus can be made, on request, exclusively vegetarian.

Dinners can be booked for a minimum of 4 people up to a maximum of 16.
