Tasting menù

The programme includes the visit to the Water mill and a tasting menù, including products prepared with the use of our whole wheat flours by La Timpa and condiments from local farms.

Programme:

  • Visit to the Water mill
  • Tasting Menù: tasting of two different kinds of Sicilian cheeses, olives and dry tomatoes, seasonal vegetables or salad, two different kind of focacce or in alternative, for a minimum of five participants we prepare pasta of our production with traditional and seasonal ingredients;
  • Dessert: lemon or almond blancmange or ricotta mousse or other types of homemade desserts, such as tarts and homemade cakes
  • Wine: a glass of red or white Sicilian wines
  • Time: 2 hours

Cheese and Flour Lovers Program

Cheese Tasting

A taste of Iblean Mountain, a small guided journey to discover our renowned traditional cheeses, Iblean provola, fresh ricotta, semi aged caciocavallo cheese and pecorino cheese paired with two glasses of Sicilian wines and warm bruschetta, prepared with the use of our whole wheat flours stone milled and extra virgin olive oil, an interesting organic blend of our production.

The program includes a short visit to the water mill at work and the Cheese Tasting.

Time: 1 ½ hours

Bread and Cheese Tasting

A guided journey to discover our territory rich in tradition and history with the possibility to know the world of ancient grains and stone milled flour and traditional dairy products. A perfect combination with a tasting of four different kinds of bread, prepared with the flour of our stone mill and sourdough, paired with four different kinds of cheeses from fresh to aged. You also will taste the extra virgin olive oil, an interesting organic blend of our production and vegetables crudité, to complete the tasting two glasses of wine and a dessert.

Tasting La Timpa

The programme “Tasting La Timpa” includes a tasting of variety of bruschette, with biological extra virgin olive oil and fresh seasonal local products, two different kinds of Sicilian cheeses, olives and dry tomatoes, slice of pizza or tomasino with ricotta cheese and sausage and frollini biscuits, all prepared with our ancient grain flours produced by La Timpa   .
